Join the Hydration Angels

Hydration Angels is a volunteer programme designed to assist healthcare professionals and carers to encourage people to drink as much as they should.

A large percentage of people in care homes and hospitals are dehydrated which is why Hydration Angels give up their time to sit with people in these care facilities to ensure that they are drinking their recommended amount. This not only provides the support needed to reach the level of hydration that they need but also offers them companionship throughout the day.

Dehydration can cause serious issues for the NHS with dehydrated patients being at a higher risk of falls, infection and fatigue and can also result in medicines and treatments being less effective.

Register today to become a Hydration Angel and join us in helping to hydrate the nation and make a dramatic difference to people’s health and wellbeing.
